INTRAMURALS: Athletic department to offer co-ed volleyball

The athletic department will offer three intramural sports this spring. Among the sports offered will be co-ed volleyball, arena football, and basketball.
“We need more people to participate in co-ed volleyball,” the intramural director, Bob Koopman said.
Co-ed volleyball will be played on Sundays and possibly on Tuesdays. They will start play as soon as enough people sign up to field four teams; currently there is enough for two teams. Those interested in participating should contact Koopman at extension 505 or stop by room G-207.
Arena football will be played on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at noon starting Feb. 19. Those interested in participating should contact Koopman.
Basketball will start after spring break. Those with questions or intrest should also contact Koopman.
All IVCC students, faculty, and staff members are eligible to participate in intramural activities.According to Koopman the fall intramurals went very well with around 150 people particpating in the sports. Among the most popular was basketball.
