Womens History Month is being celebrated on campus through a collection of books in the bookstore and through presentations.
On March 24 English instructor Kim Radek will present "An Introduction to Feminist Literary Criticism."
"Ill be using two films, Independence Day and Men in Black, to illustrate some of the concepts of feminist analysis," Radek said.
Her presentation will be at 2 p.m. in F-113.
Lauren Sandberg, bookstore manager, said the bookstore is offering works on "the experience and trials of motherhood, daughters and fathers, feminism from various points of view and women in athletics."

Events scheduled earlier included former IVCC English instructor Katie Riegal reading her poetry on March 4, and Allison Joseph, associate professor of English at SIU, reading her poetry at the IVCC-sponsored Day of Writing March 5.
