Celebrate National Poetry Month
River Currents will be celebrating National Poetry Month in April with two presentations:
April 6, panel discussion on how to get published,
April 20, an open mic reading.
The panel discussion will include ex-editor Leigh-Anne Sackrider, poet Steven Sherrill and fiction writer Geoff Schmidt discussing the ins and outs of magazine and book publication.
For the open mic reading, all students, staff and faculty are invited to read from their own works.
Both programs will be at 2 p.m. in the Fireplace lounge.
