Connection with IVCC:

Older son, Pat, attended IVCC. I taught evening classes at IVCC.

Qualifications for the Board:

Experience/knowledge in the education field (former school administrator).

Experience/knowledge of education/school finances.

Knowledge of business/industry needs relative to employee training and development.

Why running for the Board:

I feel that I can provide a positive contribution to the Board's decision making process due to my experience and knowledge in the education and business/industry fields.

Biggest challenges facing the college:

Providing the highest quality educational opportunities for our students within the constraints of financial resources available.

Keeping abreast of changing technology that is impacting job qualification standards and assuring that our courses of study/curriculum meet the necessary standards for our students to qualify for the technically impacted jobs of the future.
