Three students will be honored as McCormack Scholars at the Honors Banquet April 30 at Pitstick Pavilion in Ottawa.

Those students, Daniel Manfredini, Rebecca Schlund and Beth Whittington, will be recognized for having earned a minimum of 3.75 gpa in 14 or more credit hours in their first three semesters.

The 106 students who have been on the Dean’s List for two or three consecutive semesters are also being honored at the banquet. All full time faculty have been invited to attend, and the students being honored may bring guests.

Dr. Robert Marshall, vice president of student services, said he expected about 200 people to attend.

Following the dinner, the McCormack Scholars will be recognized and the Dean’s List students will be given certificates of merit. Father Bernard Horzen of St. Bede Academy will speak.

Marshall said the purpose of the banquet was "to recognize and honor students who have achieved high levels of academic success."
