LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Thanks to young man
To the considerate young man,
Thank you to the young man, I dont know his name, who helped me with my car problem at noon Nov. 8.
I was leaving at lunchtime and lost my brakes near the IVCC entrance and pulled up on the berm. A couple of cars went by and the students made remarks and laughed.
Then a young man pulled up behind me and offered to help. He crawled under my car to check for the problem. He said he saw a hole and probably brake fluid leaking.
He then offered to use his car as a bumper. He said he would drive in front of me to the IVCC auto shop and if I couldnt stop, it was okay to run into him. "I have an old car, its fine," he said.
I did follow him and got the car to the shop without having to hit him.
What a sweet young man. His mother should be so proud of him. It was so nice that he took the time.
