FROM THE PRESS BOX COLUMN: Intramurals

Last year, I heard there wasn’t enough to do since there were no intramurals. Now there are, but very few people are participating. These activities need interest or they may not return next year.
Instead of complaining that there is nothing to do, come out and play or watch flag football. You can meet people and have fun.
While flag football and chess may not be your thing, tell Intramural Coordinator Bob Koopmann what you would like to participate in.
Starting in October are basketball, euchre, and "closest to the pin" contest. From the way everyone plays cards in the cafeteria, I would assume enough of you would play euchre.
Don’t be a bump on a log that only goes to class and then home. And, if you are, don’t complain that there’s nothing to do on campus.
