Students in Free Enterprise is sponsoring a free seminar on Customer Service for the Small Business on from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 16 in the Fireplace Lounge.
Business consultant Dr. Dennis Harding will conduct the seminar. Harding, who has a Ph.D. in psychology from Bristol University in England, is a graduate trainee with Shell Oil Company. He spent 12 years as a consultant to Digital Corporation of Geneva, Switzerland.
Harding began Relax International, and now serves as a consultant.
SIFE team member Jamie Lemmer said the seminar is open to anyone who wishes to improve their customer service. She added that although the seminar is geared to the small business owner, the techniques discussed will benefit anyone who is attempting to increase customer satisfaction.
"We are very excited to bring such a high caliber speaker to the community just as the Christmas season is getting underway," Lemmer said. "Some of the tactics discussed could help businesses increase sales, as well as help reduce the stress of this busy season."
