Letter to editor: Not the RWSS Lab’s errors
Dear Editor:
The staff of the Reading, Writing and Study Skills Lab would like a retraction printed in your next paper. Mr. (Ken) Schroeder’s article ("Once More unto the Breach" column, Nov. 11, 1999) implied that the RWSS Lab was responsible for the incorrect sentence that appears on the Student Services page.
Mr. Schroeder should have noted that there is merely a link to the RWSS Lab, and the instructors in the lab did not write and are not responsible for the Student Services Web page. Students always have and will continue to receive quality instruction in the RWSS Lab.

The Web page errors were indeed on the Student Services page, in the section referring students to the lab, not on a page prepared by the lab staff. Those errors have now been corrected.
