IVCC’s criminal justice association, affiliated with the national Lambda Alpha Epsilon, provides scholarships, sponsors seminars and speakers, and assists with community activities.

In recent years, members have helped with projects to fingerprint and photograph children, directed traffic at the annual Burgoo, and patrolled on Halloween.

Membership is open to all students majoring in criminal justice. Each spring the organization hosts a banquet attended by professionals in the field as well as by IVCC students. Outstanding criminal justice students are recognized at the banquet.

The group was organized in 1974 to cultivate a spirit of fraternity among criminal justice students. Criminal justice instructor Rebecca Donna is the advisor.
