Ye Olde Madrigal Dinner will be presented Dec. 11, 12 and 13 in the upper gym under the direction of Kathryn Sarver.

Retired music instructor William Hall, who staged the first Madrigal 25 years ago, is returning as a consultant for this anniversary performance. Hall continued to direct Madrigals through 1996.

The dinner had been scheduled for Dec. 3 – 7, with a location to be announced. The scheduling change was made to fit available dates for the upper gym, said Giacomo Leone, chair of the Humanities and Fine Arts Division.

Last year the dinner was staged in LRC-D, which now houses an open computer lab. For many years the dinner was in LRC-E, which is now the Counseling Center.

Sarver, a part-time music instructor, takes over as the third Madrigal director. Dr. Alan Peters, voice instructor, directed last year.

The Friday and Saturday night performances will be at 7 p.m.; the Sunday performance will be at 2:30 p.m. Cost of the performance and dinner is $22.

Anyone interested in participating as a performer, singer, server or musician should contact Leone at ext. 487.
