Edible Car Contest-Middle School

Eighth graders learn about vehicle design and engineering technology by designing, building and racing vehicles made entirely of food.

In a spring 2011 competition with eighth graders at Lincoln Junior High School in LaSalle, the Crispy Beetles, above, won  a First in Design;  the Turnerator, above right, won First in Creativity; and 3 Guys and Kim, at right on the track, was First in Speed.
