DISASSEMBLING / REASSEMBLING COMPUTERS

Middle school girls, working in teams,  take apart and reassemble computer CPUs in an exercise held at IVCC.

Junior High girls, pictured above and below, learn about computer components by completely disassembling and reassembling one with guidance from Electronics Program Coordinator Jim Gibson.

IVCC student Caitlin Rinker, at left, helps with the computer assembly as part of her Honors project.

The middle school girls designed their T-shirts and created their version of STEM, Smart Team where Everyone Matters instead of Science Technology, Engineering and Math.
