IVCC to Offer Disabilities Services Orientation Night
    Illinois Valley Community College’s Disability Services Office announces “Disability Services Orientation Night” from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 in Room C-316.
    High school juniors and seniors with cognitive, physical, sensory or mental health-related disabilities who plan to enroll at IVCC are invited.
    Students, parents, high school teachers and case managers are welcome and should RSVP no later than Feb. 18.

College and University visits planned
    Over the next few weeks, multiple colleges and universities will be visiting IVCC for students’ interests in where to transfer after IVCC.


PTK Talent Show auditions set
    Auditions for “Illinois Valley’s Got Talent” from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22 and Wednesday, Feb. 23 in the Cultural Centre.
    Singing, dancing and skits are all acceptable auditions, as well as other types of talent; all acts must be family appropriate. Rehearsal is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 29.
    The performance will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m Friday, May 6 and is open to the public.

Scholarship applications due
    Foundation Scholarship Applications are due Monday, Feb. 28 by 4 p.m. in Room C-202.

    A number of scholarship opportunities are available. Students are encouraged to begin filling out the paperwork as soon as possible, since an essay is one of the requirements.
