Building project causes early adjustments for theater

    Illinois Valley Community College’s theatre department will be producing three plays this spring to be performed at the Follies Theatre in Utica.
    General admission for all shows will be $10 for adults, $5 for children and students excluding IVCC Night (opening night for each of the plays), where IVCC students and faculty members will be granted free admission.
    The plays being performed at the Follies Theatre this semester are as follows:
• “After the Beep,” directed by Dr. Kuester will be performed March 31-April 3.
• “Vanities,” directed by Don Zellmer will be performed April 7-April10.
• “Play three,” which will be comprised of two one act plays, a short opera and a radio play, directed by Norm Engstrom, will be performed April 14-17.
    The shows have moved to the Follies as part of the preparation for next few years, when IVCC expects the Community Technology Center building Project to begin.
