Registration for summer and fall semesters will begin in
early April.
Beginning at 8 a.m. April 7, registration for the summer
semester begins online only. On April 8, you may begin registering for the
summer semester in person in addition to online registration. Phone registration
begins April 9.
Prospective students should register as soon as possible to
ensure enrollment, according to Connie Skerston from credentials analysis and
Admissions.
Skerston said many four-year university students take summer
classes, and students may find offerings may not be as many during the summer.
Fall registration begins April 20 at 8 a.m. online only.
April 21 in-person registration begins in addition to online. On April 22 phone
registration begins. In order to register online, you need to set up your
WebAdvisor account.
“Set up your account now so you are familiar with it when
registration rolls around,” said Skerston. Currently enrolled students have a
WebAdvisor account even if they have never used it. In order to set up the
account students must contact the Computer Resource Center in D-201.
“Go in and use the Web. It’s as smooth as can be. Every
student should make an appointment with a counselor now,” said Skerston, “If you
see a counselor, there are no surprises.”
It is suggested that students make an appointment one month
in advance to guarantee an appointment in time for registration, according to
Renee Prine, IVCC counselor. One counselor is available for walk-ins
Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Counselors strongly recommend that you come prepared to a
walk-in appointment.
“There’s no such thing as a quick question,” Prine said. She
suggests students come to a walk-in appointment with questions to be answered
and classes in mind.
You may register for a class up until the first class
meeting. Registration ends when classes begin.
