The application deadline for fall 2008 Illinois Valley Community College Foundation scholarships is 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29.
“It does not take long to apply and most students who make the effort are rewarded with a scholarship,” said Fran Brolley, director of development.
Applications are available online at www.ivcc.edu/foundation, in the Foundation office, Room C-202 or in high school guidance offices. Each year the Foundation awards more than $110,000 to over 200 students. There are about 115 scholarships in all.
The majority of awards are in specific areas of study but 32 are open to students in all majors.
