Several events have been scheduled for Black History Month. The events are sponsored by the Diversity Team, Student Development and Student Government Association.
“The History of the Noose,” a presentation prepared by CNN, will discuss the history of the noose and its significance in American/Black history. It will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Feb. 25 in room B-216.
A Black Expo with African and American Images will be Feb. 26 in the Main Lobby. Vendors will be selling jewelry, African sculptures, designer purses and clothing.
