Tracy Morris, director of administration and records, is encouraging students to take advantage of WebAdvisor for their summer and fall registration needs.
“It is not a substitute for planning your college career with a counselor but if you know what classes you need, you can do your summer registration in 5 minutes,” she said.
Anatomy and CNA classes have been recently added to the WebAdvisor list.
The first day to enroll in summer classes is April 5. There are no classes on the April 5 because of a Faculty Development day; however, students could come and register in person or WebAdvisor will be available from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.
The first day to enroll for the Fall semester is April 18.
Morris said, “You can stand in line or you can go on-line."
“All currently enrolled students can register their classes using Web Advisor. All you need to know is your IVCC login and password.”
Morris also said, “We are going to have a scooter and some other IVCC gear for prizes if students, who want to use WebAdvisor but need a little help, go to Computer Lab D and have a lab staff member walk them through it from March 28 through the second week in April.”
Morris said students still need guidance from IVCC’s counseling staff to help them select classes.
“If you have questions about classes, be sure to speak with a counselor, but if you have problems with WebAdvisor, go to Computer Lab D,” she said.
A powerpoint presentation will be made available in the lobby for interested students.
