Former student, Ottawan display work
Two local artists, Carrie Bauer and Thomas Broadfoot, will
be displaying their work at Illinois Valley Community College until March 25.
Bauer is a former IVCC student and a graduate of Northern
Illinois University.
She started her art career as a student in the IVCC fine arts
department and currently resides in Mendota. Many of her pieces featured in the
lobby are for sale.
Broadfoot is a native of New Jersey and currently lives in
Ottawa. He has been a technologist for over 25 years and is a web designer and
computer consultant, combining his love of art with technology. His artwork will
be in the building B display cases and combines digital abstracts, surreal
spacescapes, and fantasy works.
