Softball team to hold clinic

The Illinois Valley Community College Eagles will host a softball clinic on campus this spring.
Grades 2-6 will meet 9- 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1 and 11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2. Grades 7-12 will meet 9- 11:30 a.m. Saturday March 1 and 2- 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2.
Participants will receive instruction from Corey Tomasson, IVCC Head Softball Coach, and Bob Reese, IVCC assistant coach, as well as current and past IVCC softball players. Instruction includes hitting, fielding, throwing and base running.
Cost of the clinic is $25. All participants will receive and IVCC softball clinic T-shirt.
