A new scholarship is being offered to IVCC students who are from the La Salle area.
The scholarship was established by the Rev. L.L. Henkel through a trust with Citizens First National Bank in Princeton.
Any student attending either La Salle-Peru Township High School or St. Bede Academy and who has applied and been accepted at an accredited college or university is eligible.
Applicants must rank in the top 10 percent of their graduating class and have an ACT composite score of 21.
Completed application must be turned into LaSalle County Regional Superintendent of Schools by April 15.
Students already attending an accredited college or university must have minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Financial need is not a determining factor for recipients.
