Leo is surprisingly Catchy

As if all of us, well all men anyway, weren’t sick enough of Leonardo DiCaprio after his pathetic performance in “Titanic,” he decided to hound theaters again. However, Leo finally took some acting lessons and his new movie, “Catch Me If You Can,” is a comical film that exceptionally captivates its audience.
The true-life story depicts the early adulthood of Frank Abagnale Jr., an adventurous and uncatchable con artist. DiCaprio portrays the young, intelligent Abagnale who impersonates pilots, CIA agents, lawyers, and doctors to gain needed accesses and instant riches. Despite FBI agent Carl Hanratty (acted by Tom Hanks) on his trail, Abagnale humorously evades authorities and continues his enviable criminal activities. Also among the remarkable acting, Christopher Walken wonderfully plays Frank Abagnale Sr., a supporting role worthy of critical praise.
Combining Steven Spielberg, Godfather of film directing, to a highly-touted cast and interesting storyline, based upon actual events, creates a potion for a funny film that will unfortunately dodge Oscar stardom thanks in part to DiCaprio’s other new release, “Gangs of New York.”
In addition, don’t show up late for the viewing because the unique opening credits are stunning. Hard to explain just what makes them so special, but witnessing firsthand will bring enlightenment on the rare method used to package them.
Humor, crime, suspense, Spielberg, Hanks, Walken, and yes, DiCaprio. What more could one possibly want? No options of whether you can or not, “Catch Me If You Can” is a must CATCH!
