Steve Matuszak is bringing his “Comedy With A Cause” program to IVCCs Cultural Center on Thursday, Feb. 6 in celebration of Black History Month. He will be performing two presentations, one to take place at 9:30 a.m. and the other at 1 p.m.
Matuszak has been entertaining college students since 1991 with his stand up comedy act. He is known to be an energetic crowd pleaser who uses the audience during his performances and “teaches them through the power of humor.”
On Feb. 6, scenes and skits will be acted out that address current issues that face students, as well as promote diversity. Some of the topics scheduled are titled “Culture Clash,” “Black and White” and “Differently Abled.”
This event is taking place with the help of funding from the Diversity Taskforce and is open to all IVCC students, faculty and staff, as well as grade school and high school students at no charge.
