Intramurals under way

Intramural leagues begin this year with flag football on Sept. 25.
Sign-up is currently under way in the gym in Room G-207. Coordinator Bob Koopmann said students, faculty and staff are encouraged to sign up for intramural play.
Flag football will be offered at noon every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on campus.
Koopmann said one goal of intramural this year is to get more people involved. One way he hopes to accomplish that is by adding more sports, such as co-ed volleyball, which will start in November.
Other intramural sports include ping pong and badminton, which start at the beginning of January. Basketball is offered twice during the school year, one starting in November and again in March.
