REMEMBERING SEPT. 11:
    A discussion circle on the topic of Sept. 11 is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sept. 11 in C-321A. The event is being sponsored by POWER.
    Advisor Kim Abel said the discussion circle would provide an opportunity to speak, listen, question, learn and find common ground.

TRANSFER TALK:
    Representatives from colleges and universities will be on campus on the following dates to talk with prospective transfer students:
Sept. 16 – Robert Morris from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sept. 22 WIU from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sept. 22 – NIU from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sept. 25 – University of St. Francis from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sept. 29 – University of St. Francis from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Oct. 8 – Methodist College of Nursing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

COLLEGE NIGHT:
    Representatives from more than 60 colleges and universities will be on campus Oct. 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for IVCCs annual College Night. 
    Tracy Morris, director of admissions and records, said, “College Night is an excellent opportunity for students and community members to visit with a wide variety of colleges and universities.”
    The event is offered free of charge. Representatives will be in the gymnasium.

JOB HELP OFFERED: 
    IVCCs Career Planning and Placement Office and The WorkWays Center, located in the building E link, offer assistance with:
- resume writing and critiques
- job search information
- cover letter assistance
- interview practice
- access to the Internet for job searching
- information on available jobs
- help with exploring careers
