Gaming society invites all
Sept. 11, 2003

The Round Table Gaming Society welcomes all students to participate in the many events planned this year.
Those events include an all-year Halo Ladder, Euchre Tournament, Dungeons and Dragons Battle Royal and a weekly session of Dungeons and Dragons. The society is also trying to organize a live-action game of wizard’s chess, like in Harry Potter, in the courtyard of IVCC.
People interested in joining the club or signing up for an event should contact Josh Hayward, president, or Ben Logan, vice president, via e-mail (jkh012@yahoo.com or beano_85@hotmail.com) or phone (815-878-2834 or 815-252-8559).
Club members gain advantages like byes in tournaments and reduced price for events.
The Round Table Gaming Society also supports the Wicked Wrestling Alliance and would like to invite everyone to come see the local wrestler, Matt “The Hammer” Hancock wrestle for the newly founded WWA Championship.
The club asks IVCC students to support The Hammer as he faces his toughest opponent yet, Grin, in the first round of the WWA Championship Tournament, which will be Oct. 11 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Salle. Tickets are $10.
The Hammer has wrestled before in the same event as former ECW Champion and WWE Lightweight Champion Jerry Lynn.
