CAST CHOSEN:
    The cast has been named for Illinois Valley Community College’s fall theatre production of “Deathtrap.”
    The show will be presented at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 in the IVCC Cultural Centre. The show also will be performed at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2 in the Cultural Centre.
    Tickets for the thriller are $5 for general admission or free with an IVCC ID card.
    The cast includes Ryan Ziegler as Sidney, Katie Downey as Myra, Jared Walter as Clifford, Sarah Rexius as Helga and Devin Amigoni as Porter.
    The show will be directed by instructor David Kuester, with Michelle Kurth as assistant director.

FACULTY CONCERT:
    Norman Engstrom, instructor of music and theatre, will perform his third annual concert at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Cultural Centre. The program, titled “Three Tenors in One,” is a combination of music, theatre and mime with music from the Middle Ages to the 1990s in a variety of styles and languages.

ART SHOW AT IVCC:
    The Awakenings Art Show will be displayed in the IVCC Cultural Centre from Friday, Oct. 3 through Friday, Oct. 17.
    The exhibit is being organized and sponsored by IVCC, North Central Behavioral Health Systems, and The Awakenings organization. It is funded in part by the Illinois Arts Council and the Illinois Valley Fine Arts Trust.
    The art in this exhibit was created by people living with mental illness. Some of the art was created by people in our community as well as throughout Illinois.

GALLERY OPENING:
    The grand opening of Collins & Co. Studio/Gallery is Saturday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
