Why are you seeking office?
I am seeking office to make a difference in the school. I look to student government to be highly involved in institutional policies and procedures and I know this would be a valuable experience in my college career, both at IVCC and as I transfer to a university. I have been involved in activities in high school and wish to continue participating in governing affairs throughout my education.

What are your goals, if elected?
My goals are to increase student activities and involvement in these activities. I also want to serve the student body and increase student awareness of the college activities and programs.

Major: History

Why are you seeking office?
I am seeking office because I want to get things done; you know I’d rather be a hammer than a nail. I want to become a bridge between my fellow students and the higher-ups at the college. I want the concerns and complaints I hear in the courtyard to be heard and acted on in order to ensure that my classmates’ college-going experience is as great as they would want it to be.

What are your goals, if elected?
If elected, I would like to see a continuation of the brotherhood and sisterhood on the campus. I see it everyday in the courtyard and I think it’s great. With such a diverse society here, I would like to ensure that a hand of friendship is offered to each and every member of the IVCC community. I would also like to promote a student cultural scene on campus. And I would like to see a fraternity and sorority started here at IVCC so that us junior college students can have fun too, but I don’t think that’ll happen. Most importantly, if elected, I would take pride in serving my classmates to the best of my abilities.

Why are you seeking office?
I am seeking office because I want to be a freshman representative. I think I am a good candidate. I know I would do my best and I will do what is right.

What are your goals, if elected?
If I am elected, I plan on watching to see how things go on around here, and if I think they could be better or they should be changed, I will use my voice and speak up. I won’t go with the flow just because that is how it is done.
