Nearly 50 colleges and universities will be represented at
Illinois Valley Community College’s 39th annual College Night from 6:30 to 8
p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 in the gymnasium.
Colleges and universities expected to participate are:
Ashford University, Augustana College, Aurora University, Benedictine College,
Blackburn College, Carthage College, Central College, Columbia College,
Concordia University, Creighton University, Dominican University, Eastern
Illinois University, East-West University, Grand Canyon University, Illinois
College, Illinois State University, Illinois Valley Community College, Illinois
Wesleyan University, Judson University, Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital, Knox
College, Lakeview College of Nursing, Lincoln College, MacMurray College,
Methodist College of Nursing, Midstate College, Millikin University, Monmouth
College, Morrison Institute of Technology, North Central College, Northern
Illinois University, Rasmussen College, Rockford College, St. Ambrose
University, St. Anthony College of Nursing, Saint Francis Medical Center College
of Nursing, Southern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University, United
States Naval Academy, University of Dubuque, University of Illinois Springfield,
University of Illinois, University of St. Francis, University of
Wisconsin-Platteville, Upper Iowa University, Wartburg College, Western Illinois
University and WYOTECH.
High school and college students, parents and community
members will have the opportunity to speak to college and university
representatives about the admission process.
IVCC faculty, staff and program coordinators will also be
available to provide information about the opportunities available at IVCC as
well as options for transfer.
IVCC Financial Aid Director Patti Williamson and Laura Rogers
from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will present a financial aid
session at 6 p.m. in the Cultural Centre. For information, call the IVCC
