Everything around us is slowly beginning to change.
Every semester we come back to campus something new is added or if not that, something has definitely changed.
I don’t know about what everyone else is thinking but I’m pretty much sick of some of these new transformations. I miss the smell of Lil Bella’s pizza and breadsticks after walking out of my 11 o’clock class. I honestly don’t like knowing that they are not in our cafeteria anymore. The changes being made around school are really starting to bring me down and I’m assuming some of you as well.
Change isn’t always bad though. We have all the new bathrooms around campus that are now easier, accessible to the students and faculty, even though they are freakishly large, one-room bathrooms.
The courtyard is now smoke-free meaning you can walk through without having smoke blown in your face or around you in any way.
The new vending machines are pretty alright as well. I mean yeah, we don’t have coffee drinks anymore, although we do have a whole machine dedicated to Rockstar energy drinks, but the machines are actually coordinated with the different types of drinks and what not.
The biology lab also no longer looks like a dungeon, thankfully. Everything is now almost completely updated and new and it just officially looks really nice. We even have people popping in just to see the newly updated room.
We now have disc golf at the school, which doesn’t look like the easiest sport to play but it definitely looks like a great challenge so I recommend trying it out.
So yeah, all in all we have without a doubt experienced a lot of change here at IVCC. When it comes down to it though, most change is good whether we believe it is or not. And always remember, there will be more changes in the years to come.
