‘Time Traveler’s Wife’ a tear jerker

Bring your tissues to this movie, people! If you love a good tear jerker, this is one movie that will definitely have you reaching for the Kleenex box.
“The Time Traveler’s Wife” is based on the bestselling novel by Audry Niffenegger. The movie tells the story of a librarian from Chicago, who has to deal with some pretty weird obstacles in his life. He is a time traveler. Henry suffers from a rare genetic disorder that can send him through time at any moment and for any span of time. The sudden time traveling mostly occurs when Henry is under extreme stress and anguish.
Despite all of the drama that surrounds Henry’s life, there is a light that turns everything around and that is a girl. Henry, completely out of luck, happens to bump into the girl of his dreams, Clare. What Henry does not expect is that Clare knows Henry better than he knows himself. Clare knows, and soon convinces Henry, that they were destined to be together. And so the story goes, with ups and downs throughout.
This story is truly heartwarming and makes me wish I had picked up a copy of the book sooner. What I really enjoyed about this film is that it had a little bit of everything in it. Humor, romance, sci fi, suspense, fantasy, sorrow; this movie had an element that all of your friends could enjoy.
I loved this movie and would recommend it to everyone, not just girls. I think the ending of this film could make even the toughest guy shed a tear. I would also suggest, for those who love to read to pick up a copy of the novel. I know that’s what I will be doing in the near future.
