The choir at Illinois Valley Community College will hold rehearsals each Monday from 6-8 p.m. in Room D-223.
This fall semester, the choir will be part of the singing chorus for the IVCC Theatre and Music Department’s winter production. The Dec. 3-6 musical will be a telling of “A Christmas Carol,” by Charles Dickens. Prior to each show, the choir will also sing carols in the lobby. Those who like dancing and acting should look for announcements of upcoming auditions.
Participation is free and open to everyone in the IVCC district who enjoys singing. Students also may register and receive class credit. For more information contact Norman Engstrom at 815-224-0279.
