The Eagles volleyball team has wrapped up the regular season and started Region IV tournament play.
The Eagles played against Elgin in the opening match of regionals on Nov. 4. Results were not available as of press time. A win would pit the Eagles against the winner of Kishwaukee and Waubonsee on Saturday, Nov. 7 at College of Lake County.
“We have had a great season and enjoyed having our new coach Julie Sherbyn, but were all sad to see the season end, especially the sophomores,” said sophomore Meredith Rounds. “We were just shy of meeting our goal of .500 for our record.”
The Eagles finished the regular season with a 5-7 record in the Arrowhead Conference and a 15-21 record overall.
The team concluded its home regular season by honoring sophomores on Oct. 25 and by raising awareness of breast cancer through Dig Pink on Oct. 26.
