‘Paranormal Activity’ gives viewers the creeps

What is it about “Paranormal Activity” that has everyone buzzing? How did it go from only being in select theaters to almost every movie theater nationwide?
Well, the reality of the movie is what got me.
A boyfriend and girlfriend living in the same home set up a camera in their bedroom that monitors what goes on while they sleep.
This is absolutely terrifying because everything that goes on in their bedroom could possibly be happening in ours.
    How would we know?
People may be reluctant in seeing the movie because it is said to have been a cheaply made movie. Well, it was. In fact, it took only $15,000 to make it.
But, it must have been pretty good because it made more than $22 million in the box office.
Because “Paranormal Activity” is made like the Blair Witch Project where it is filmed by a non-professional, people may be falsely alarmed and assume it will give them motion sickness.
However, unlike other non-professional made movies that make viewers’ stomach feel sick because of the motions, the movie is filmed on a camera stand for a lot of the time to even out some of the motions.
“Paranormal Activity” gives you the creeps and is one of the very few films that have you actually sleeping with one eye open.
It is definitely worth seeing in theaters and I would highly recommend doing so to get the full effect of the horror.
