Winter Graduation Deadline
    Graduating in December? The deadline to apply for December graduation is Monday, Oct. 1. 
    There is no fee to apply for graduation; however, students do need to apply to earn their degree or certificate. Graduation application forms are available in the Admissions and Records Office.

Blood and Bone Marrow Drive
    Appointments will be taken soon for the Blood and Bone Marrow Drive at Illinois Valley Community College.
    Students can make an appointment by signing up in the IVCC front lobby from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Sept. 17-19. After those dates, appointments can be made in the nursing office, A-214A or by calling 815-224-0485.
    The driver will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 in the IVCC gym.

College Recruits on Campus
    Representatives from several colleges will visit the IVCC campus during September.
Eureka College will be represented on Sept. 19, Western Illinois University and Ellis College on Sept. 25 and Franklin University on Sept. 26. 
    The college admission representatives will have tables set up in the lobby.

Free Healthcare Seminar
    Illinois Valley Community College's Office of Continuing Education will offer "Exploring Healthcare Careers in Pharmacy Tech & EKG Tech" (CPD-3210-309) on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 6-7 p.m. in Room F-114. 
    This informational session will give prospective students information and details on various pharmacy and EKG technician certification preparation programs. 
    Course content, job outlook and certification requirements will be provided.
    It is recommended that prospective students attend this session before registering for certification programs. Admission is free and open to the public.
