p.m.
Director of “Dracula Baby,” David Allan Kuester, is excited for the upcoming performances. “It will be phenomenal and it’s a fun piece,” says Kuester. “We have a talented group of students that auditioned this semester, and so we went with a play that really showcases their talents.”
“Dracula Baby” is a comedic and musical retelling of the classic Dracula story. Kuester best described it as “what ‘Young Frankenstein’ did for Frankenstein, ‘Dracula Baby’ does for Dracula.” Kuester explains that he hopes many will come to show their support and to have fun, and says that he thinks “Dracula Baby” is “a perfect play to open the Halloween season.”
The Choreographer and Musical Director of “Dracula Baby” is Don Grant Zellmer and the musical is being produced through special arrangements with Dramatic Publishing.
