Grab your heart and blood pressure pills! As Halloween approaches, it is a perfect time to watch a ghoulish, chilling, and incredibly creepy mystery—right? Are you ready for it?
The IVCC theater department begins its season of performances with “Murder at the Mansion” on Oct. 20, 21, 22 and Oct. 27, 28, 29.
As the Cultural Center undergoes an extensive makeover, this deadly show will be performed at Ottawa’s Reddick Mansion. Seating is limited, and to make reservations, call 224-0352 or 434-2737. “Murder at the Mansion,” directed by David Allen Kuester (La Salle), assistant directed by Megan Norlin (La Salle), and coordinated by Rae Lathrop (Streator) is expected to be “drop dead dun!”
The mysterious cast includes Meridith Donahue (Peru), Mike Lewis (Ottawa), Amanda Sedlock (Streator), Jean Batson Turner (Ottawa), Bejan V. Roumi (Ottawa), Jeff Kalina (Peru), Robert Calhan (Ottawa), Jennifer Wallin (Oglesby), Katie Fultz (Mendota), Joseph Downie (Spring Valley), Steve Kwiatek (Peru), Melisa Burgett (Tonica), John Mitchell (Ottawa), and Lora Vasiliauskis (Dalzell).
All shows begin at 8 p.m. and the “whodunnit-help-solve-it” show is promised to get you in the Halloween spirit.
