Prime parking spot awarded

Britta House will be enjoying a much shorter walk from the
parking lot this winter at IVCC. House won a reserved parking spot in Lot 1 for
November and December through a raffle.
Crystal Loughran of Safety Services sponsored the raffle, and
the proceeds are to go to the 2006 Staff Service project to restore the walking
paths and the pond area behind IVCC.
Loughran said, “The bottom line is Student Government sold
over $220 in raffle tickets in 18 hours of selling them. It was a great
experience. “The parking raffle was a great success with lots of interest from
many. I’ve received loads of positive feedback regarding the raffle idea,” said
Loughran.
She also added that special thanks go to Gaby Serratos,
Elizabeth Kunkel, Amanda Reese, Clifford Stasiak, Bill Zens, Kyle Fogle, Kayla
Daugherty, Jenna Moore, and Kim Abel who all helped to sell tickets.
