49 students inducted into PTK

More than 49 students were inducted Oct. 19 into Rho Omega
Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. This academic honor society is the only nationally
recognized honor organization for community colleges. Students must achieve a
3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale to be eligible.
The guest speaker for the ceremony was Jane Sack, IVCC
Counselor. PTK advisors are Tara Coburn, Dominic Sarsah and Julie Sherbyn.
IVCC’s PTK President is Hugh Baugher and vice-presidents are Megan Guilfoyle,
Rebecca Gatlin, Thanh Nguyen, Jessica Glade, Charles Roberson and Sarah Sass.
