PTK initiates global warming discussion

Is it hot in here or is it just global warming? Ha Ha, not
very funny, but it is something we need to think about.
As pollution rates increase, as the greenhouse effect
becomes more of an issue, as our ice caps melt, as our shore lines recede, as
smog covers the cities, as animals die, and as our atmosphere dilapidates, it
might be a good idea to address the issue.
There is a lot of information thrown at us in the media and
in the Internet. We all have our own ideas concerning global warming: what it
is, what is going to happen, and when. No matter the opinion, it is important to
keep an open mind, accept possible solutions, and be aware. Easier said then
done, eh? Well, maybe not.
In January, PTK will be sponsoring a showing of “An
Inconvenient Truth,” discussing the problems of global warming.
So, here is a way to begin: discuss the issue. For more
information about this upcoming presentation, visit PTK’s Web site or attend an
upcoming meeting. One can contact PTK's president, Hugh Baugher, for additional
information.
