Holiday auction planned

    River Currents will hold a holiday auction and raffle starting Dec. 5 until the 9th.
    A table will be set up in C building where raffle tickets can be bought or bids can be made for items on the silent auction list. Silent auction items include jewelry, hand-crafted letter openers, stained-glass artwork, and other pieces.
In the raffle, prizes such as several gift baskets, gift certificates to Amici’s Restaurant, a day spa, the IVCC Bookstore and more can be won.
    The River Currents holiday auction is also a kick off the writing group’s new online publication “Ill Valley,” which will be published later this month and will be found from www.ivcc.edu.
    “Ill Valley” is a fictional online soap opera of the parallel IVCC world. All stories, artwork, and pictures will be written and created by River Currents members.
