Love of Literature

Students in Koshu Jagasia’s Survey of American Literature II class present projects that enabled them to learn more about the time period of some of the works they read in class. Students looked at the food, fashions, music, politics and literature of several eras. (Photo at right) Emily Zukowski plays a tribute to the memory of Woodstock and the free love era of the 1960s. Other members of Zukowski’s group included Adam Smith, Trisha Linn, Justin Hardee, Shane Ritko and Meg Griesdon. (Bottom, left) Laura Bozue reads information about Flannery O’Connor, an author published during the 1950s. Other members of the group were Mary Credi, Brittani Diss, Jacob Hirschman, Michael JOhnson and Katy Sromek. Phill Ernst discusses author Ray Bradbury for the 1940s. His group included Brad Schorn, Marlene Merkel, Melissa Soenksen and Linda Suarez.
