Summer registration scheduled

Registration for fall/summer IVCC classes starts soon. Summer registration begins March 1, while the fall registration begins April 12.
There are four ways to register for classes: in person; on the web with WebAdvisor; through mail or fax; or by telephone by calling 224-0447, 224-0448, or 224-0449. However, if a student wants to register by mail, fax, or telephone, registration starts a day later.
With WebAdvisor, a student can register any time during the weekends and from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. weekdays. If a student wants to use the WebAdvisor, he/she must be currently enrolled at IVCC. One must also have a user name, password and e-mail address. There are also some classes that a student cannot register for online.
Tracy Morris, IVCC admissions director, thinks highly of the WebAdvisor.
“It gives more flexibility because you can register at night, weekends, or when the school’s closed,” she said. “It gives the student more time to register.”
