Cast announced for play

    Fans of classic British comedy take note: the IVCC drama department has recently announced the cast list for its spring production of Oscar Wilde’s classic play, “The Importance of Being Earnest.”
    The cast includes Ryan Ziegler of Princeton as John “Jack” Worthing; Sean Walsh of Oglesby as Algernon Moncrieff; Elizabeth Gusick of Ottawa as Gwendolen Fairfax; Elyse Bruening of Peru as Cecily Cardew; Karry Halbleib of Malden as Lady Bracknell; Rachel Gorenz of Princeton as Miss Prism; David Sexton of La Salle as Chasuble; Ryan Brouwer of Hennepin as Lane; and John Clarner of Oglesby as Merriman.
    Assistant Directors are Michelle Kurth of Princeton and Tabitha Hamann of Marseilles.
    The performances are set for 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, March 25 through March 27 and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28 in IVCC’s Cultural Centre.
