Tim Puetz signed a letter of intent on April 16 to play golf at Kennesaw University next fall. This university is a Division II school ranked in the top ten of the nation located in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Puetz is happy about playing for Georgia because it will give him the opportunity to play golf 12 months out of the year.

He was attracted to the school ever since he went to visit.

"I was impressed with everything," he said. "The school, the players, and the teammates all impressed me. It seemed like a good fit."

He has high expectations of himself in Georgia.

"I feel I should step up on the top five," he commented. "Possibily, I could take first or second. I think it's a realistic goal."

Puetz had also had an offer to play at the Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. It was a spur of the moment offer after Puetz had his mind set on Georgia.

"It was a hard decision," said Puetz. I wanted to go to Grand Canyon since I was in high school, but there were so many plusses in going to Arizona. I thought I would relate better to the coach. He just got out of college and was in a strong golf curriculum."
