Ryan Luecke has been elected Student Government Association president for 2002-2003, and Rebekah Peterson is the new student representative to the board of trustees.

In elections held April 18 and 19, Luecke and Peterson ran unopposed. Also elected and running unopposed were Martin Rue, Jr. as vice president and Jessica Coppes as secretary.

By write in votes, Eric Olson was elected treasurer, Melissa Paarsons was elected sophomore representative, and John Atchley and Andy McGill were elected sophomore programming members.

Cory Tomasson, SGA advisor, said "some of these people (write in winners) have not confirmed their willingness to participate, so there is chance of some changes in the future."

The vote totals for the candidates that filed for election were: Luecke 101, Rue 103, Peterson 103, Coppes 99. For the write in candidates: Olson 29, Parsons 20, Atchley 4 and McGill 2. A total of 122 students voted.

Election of freshmen representatives will be held in the fall.
