Finally, The Rock has come back to the big screen. After making his film debut in the horrible sequel "The Mummy Returns," The Rock is reprising his role as the Scorpion King in the movie, originally titled "Hi my name is The Rock and I am going to kick your ASS!" but is now called "The Scorpion King."

The original title would have been good but like most the people who write good titles, they ALWAYS get shot down for stupid and really cheesy ones made up by the people who are in charge.

This movie is set back before the first "Mummy" movie in this trilogy. It is mainly set around The Rock’s character and how he ends up becoming the Scorpion King. We are huge Rock fans and this movie is freakin’ awesome.

There are tons upon tons of fighting and death, but it is all set up in a PG-13 way, so the blood is toned down and no arms are hacked off. This movie is a lot like the Conan movies that Arnold made but without the blood.

This movie kept us on the edges of our seats from start to finish, just non-stop action. They even throw in an "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" reference during the movie. If you’re a big fan of those movies, it should be no problem spotting it.

Another thing that was nice was the lack of wrestling moves being done by the Rock. He didn’t do any of his signature moves and that’s good because that would have been really dumb.

The Rock is given a cheesy sidekick like any great action star needs. The sidekick is the comedic relief for all the action that is taking place.

The movie has the undefeatable bad guy who rules the land without remorse, a must have for any great action movie because it gives the main character some one to strive to kill. The Rock is hired to kill this evil ruler and that is the main plot for the movie. But like any other true action movie, the bad guy with out thinking makes the fight personal, which screws him in the end.

Most of the time when celebrities who didn’t make it big in movies or television but in some other field try to make movies, they really suck because they really cannot act. But not so with The Rock. He knows his limits and doesn’t try to use what got him famous, wrestling, within the movie.

We give this movie an A- for all the action that it had in it.

Also go see Star Wars Episode II and Spiderman in May.
