They are band on the rise with a lot of talent in their collaboration. If you enjoy music like Weezer and The Red Hot Chili Peppers or anything in between, then you should definitely check out the local band Dropped.

The LaSalle-Peru area group consists of Jamie Correl as lead vocalist, Rick Delphi as lead guitarist, Scott Kalina as drummer, and Princeton native Dan Tremblay as bass guitarist.

The band has been together since 1999. Kalina and Tremblay joined in 2001.

The band was brought together by their love of music and passion for alternative rock, hard rock, and funk.

“ I personally love to play the music,” said Tremblay, “ there is no better feeling than playing on stage in front of a crowd.”

The band has performed at many local establishments including The Ninth Street Pub, Ale Mary’s, and Club Blues. They have scheduled a performance at The Pig Pen in the near future but a date has not been set.

The band is in the process of recording a demo featuring many of their self produced tracks including their self titled song “Dropped.”

As for the future they are not sure what is to come. The band promises a great performance and a great time at their performances.
