Student Government Association elections are April 18 and 19 and an SGA-sponsored Beach Blanket Drive-In Movie is planned for April 24.
For the election, the offices open are president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, student trustee, two sophomore programming board members and one sophomore representative.
Students interested in running for SGA offices for 2002-2003 must have sophomore status and a minimum of a 2.0 gpa by the fall semester. Petitions will be available starting on April 1 in the Student Services Office, C-213.
"The SGA members represent the student body, and no matter your interest, the Student Government Association gives you a chance to voice your opinion," said advisor Cory Tomasson. "It also looks great on a college admissions application."
BEACH BLANKET MOVIE
The drive-in movie, title yet to be announced, will begin at sundown on April 24 and will be free of charge.
